Nestlé concept work

In a unique collaboration with Nestlé, I was tasked with the fun challenge of conceptualising and designing characters for an original game. These characters were meant to make players feel more involved and also get across Nestlé's message of eating healthy cereal in the game. The game revolved around an island, where the main character would defend their island from the pests.

I began by assembling a mood board featuring characters that I believed would establish the right tone and atmosphere for a fresh addition to the Nestlé franchise's universe.

I initially began with animal characters, but it became evident that the team was more interested in exploring an alien concept. I produced the preferred character design in multiple poses to facilitate the work of the 3D team.

I developed several alien concepts, ultimately favoring a chunkier design reminiscent of a teddy bear shape.

After selecting the initial design, I refined its appearance and added clothing to evoke a farmer aesthetic.

I additionally crafted designs for the antagonist character, who serves as the primary threat attempting to pilfer the crop, thereby necessitating the farmer's defensive actions.

Below are some ideation for the island which would be created in 3D and placed in augmented reality.
