Pez Play

Partnering with PEZ, I designed a series of games for the PEZ Play app. Scan PEZ codes and Unlock mini-games and characters with every new fruit you find. Explore PEZ world and discover a total of seven unique games and activities!

I was tasked with the challenge to create concepts for a planet and new games for the popular gaming app. The new planet and environment had to have an alien look to it. I conveyed this alien style not only in the environment design but also the UI. From the already popular app, each game had a colour associated with it, I decided to keep that concept and have each game have one colour scheme with corresponding UI colours. For each game I did a rough black and white concept and then roughed out the colours in Photoshop. Above are the colour concept art, some black and white studies for the game environment and the UI art style.
